Vallès Oriental is a reference point for sports due to the great number of relevant sportive activities carried out all year round as well as the county’s sport teams’ high level. A lot of them are outstanding both nationally and internationally such as Granollers Handball Team, Sant Celoni Skating Club which was world champion in 2007, or la Roca del Vallès Twirling Group.

Some of our county’s events are: Seat León Super Cup, which counts towards Spain’s championship, Granollers-la Garriga Half Marathon, Granollers Cup, 24 hours motorbike race in Circuit de Catalunya, Lliçà de Munt Mud Football, Catalonia’s Motoring Championship, 24 hours in Vall del Tenes and Le Mans Series among others.
