The SICTED supposes a new approach in the extension of the System of Tourist Spanish Quality, characterized by the coordinated management of the destination the joint intersectorial application of quality parameters and the incorporation to the project of sectors that are not necessarily tourist, but if related to the quality of the destination.

The general object of the SICTED project is develops an integral model of quality management in the destination, to be able to obtain a constant and joint management of the quality in any tourist national destination. The application of the system presents important competitive advantages as the recognition of the system in all state, the cohesion of the destination, the improvement of the perception of the quality of the destination on the part of the visitors or the increase of the perception of the reliability and safety of the offer, among other factors.

One of the key points of the badge SICTED is the sensitization towards the improvement of the quality in destination. This work develops by means of the information to the tourist, the implantation of good practices at the moment of working, the development of tools of excellence, the endowment of resources and the mechanisms of recognition as the badge of the destination, the badge of the company and of the public entity and the certificate of assistance to the persons who participate.
